2015 AFC Asian Cup final - Korea Vs Australia

Saturday night was the AFC Asian Cup final, and as luck would have it the two teams in the final were the Australian Socceroos and the Korean Reds. Jihyeon has a friend in Daejeon who owns a Japanese pub, so we decided to drop in and visit him to watch the game.  I had a great time shouting "YEAH" every time the Koreans missed a goal :)

I made a deal with him that I'd eat Kimchi each time Korea scored if he ate Vegemite when we scored.

First time trying Vegemite. Well done.

It was a great game. Australia scored in the final seconds of the first half. Korea sneaked one through in in the 2 minutes of overtime at the end of the second half. Finally, Australia kicked the winning goal in the final seconds of the first extra 15 minute half.
